She grew up with lots of love,
And with several morals of life,
Each day a different lesson,
A different reason to strive,
But these different experiences couldn’t prepare her for future,
Because destiny has its own plans
Unpredictable for every creature.
She grew up with the thought of everyone treated equal,
Little did she know the facts of the upcoming sequel.
She was traded between families in terms of money,
No one wanted a wife or a daughter in law,
All they wanted was heaps of gold a little more than many.
She was gonna leave her footsteps where she had grew up,
Now she would be no more a princess,
Who wasn’t accorded to hold a cup.
This is the ritual followed since the olden days,
Sacrifices of life are only made by ‘her’ in every effing way.
At the new place she was given some instructions to follow;
She wasn’t allowed to talk loud,
Her life wasn’t left with anything new to do,
It basically turned hollow.
If she couldn’t deliver a boy her future would be miscarriaged.
Her future mother-in-law informed
Well before marriage.
Then she came to know that her parents were forced to get their house mortgaged,
All for the selfish reasons of the guy with whom she had recently engaged.
Breaking all the bonds, she decided to end the contract.
Calling that ‘relation’ would be silly, It didn’t even have love to refract.
She then decided to be the son of her parents,
She stood on her promises,
Her success was apparent.
Finally the values that she learned
Came to use in this world uncanny,
She became an inspiration for every girl,
Who was traded for lots of gold and heaps of money.
